The For Baby’s Sake Trust is an award-winning registered charity that takes a trauma-informed approach to break cycles of domestic abuse and give babies the best start in life. We do this via:

1) Direct support to parents who want to bring an end to domestic abuse and give their babies the best start in life using our trauma informed, therapeutic support programme For Baby’s Sake

2) Building the evidence base to improve the response to babies, children and parents impacted by domestic abuse

3) We encourage multi-sector collaboration, influence system change, and inform local-national policy & practice to promote therapeutic, trauma-informed practice for families

1 in 5 children – over 138,000 babies born each year - will be exposed to domestic abuse during their childhood. It can impact anybody, from any walk of life, and the effects are devastating.
